What is a performance after-market exhaust?

A performance after-market car exhaust is designed to replace the original factory exhaust. After market exhausts can increase performance, sound and visual appeal.

What does resonated/non-resonated systems mean?

Milltek Sport resonated exhaust systems includes additional silencer(s) in front of the main rear silencer box(es). These systems are the quieter option.

Milltek Sport non-resonated exhaust systems have no additional silencer(s) in front of the main rear silencer box(es). These systems are the louder option.

What does cat-back and turbo-back systems mean?

Cat-back systems start from back of the catalytic converter and go down to the backbox.

Turbo-back systems start from the back of the turbo and go down to the backbox.

Will I need a re-map?

If you are removing your catalytic converter or purchasing a sports catalytic converter you will need a Stage 2 ECU re-map.

Where should I get my exhaust fitted?

You should get your exhaust fitted at a trusted garage preferably that you’ve used before.

We suggest that you do not schedule any installation work until a few days after the expected delivery date. This will enable you to resolve any technical questions or delivery problems.

Will my car pass an MOT?

If you are not removing your catalytic converter then your car should pass an MOT.

You may be replacing your standard catalytic converter with a sports catalytic converter. Milltek’s 200 cell sport catalytic converters that are included in turbo-back systems are designed to be road legal.

Milltek’s 100 cell race sports catalytic converters are designed to be used for Motorsport/off road use only.

However if you are completely removing your catalytic converter, then your car will not pass an MOT. This should be done for Motorsport use only.

Will I get EC Approved papers for my exhaust?

You receive EC Approved papers only if the exhaust is advertised as EC Approved.

Do you ship to my country?

If your country is not listed under Shipping Costs ring us on +44 (0) 115 978 1173 or email: sales@roadrunnermotorsport.co.uk and we may be able to arrange delivery for you.

Can I track my order?

Yes, your tracking number will be added to your account when your goods are dispatched. You can then track your parcel on the relevant couriers website or by ringing their customer services number.

Please note that the courier will only attempt 2 deliveries. Should you not be in on both occasions you will need to contact us on: +44 (0) 115 978 1173 to arrange a third delivery which will incur an extra charge.

Can I collect an item from your shop?

You can call into our shop to pay for and collect items. Ring us first on: +44 (0) 115 978 1173 to place your order. When travelling any distance please ring first to ensure your item is here to collect. Collected items have to be paid for in the shop by either cash or card.

Can I amend an order?

Ring us on +44 (0) 115 978 1173 as soon as possible and we will try to help. However, if your goods have already been dispatched you will not be able to change your order.

Can I return my goods?

If you wish to return your goods you must start a returns procedure within 14 days from the day after receiving your item. You must ring us on: +44 (0) 115 978 1173 with the details of your return to enable us deal to with your request as quickly as possible.

You, the buyer, pay return carriage.

Items must be returned in a resalable, unused condition complete with original fittings, documents and packaging.

Please provide your name and invoice reference number or a copy of your invoice/packing slip with your return.

We cannot accept any items back for a refund, which have been specially made to order. We cannot accept responsibility for undelivered returned parcels or items damaged in transit. It is up to you to retain proof of postage/insurance in case of a claim with your carrier.

Why have I been charged, when my order has not been dispatched?

Full payment is taken at point of sale.

Will I have to pay custom charges in my country?

If your delivery is to outside of the EU, you will have to pay the relevant taxes/customs charges in your country. We recommend you research this before you place an order.

Will I have to pay VAT if I live outside the EU?

No, the UK VAT will be removed automatically on our website when purchasing and having your goods delivered to outside the EU.

I am an EU (Non UK) VAT registered customer, but I was charged VAT?

It is not possible to process an EU VAT registered order on our website. Ring us on: +44 (0) 115 978 1173 or email: sales@roadrunnermotorsport.co.uk with your registered VAT number and we can process your order, subject to approval.
